Cleveland, Ohio – Cleveland law firm Wegman Hessler is pleased to announce the promotion of Rachel E. Lyons, J.D., to the role of Partner.

As an Ohio estate planning attorney, Rachel represents individuals and families with generational wealth transfer. Her current practice focuses on probate law, including estate planning, estate and trust administration, and probate litigation. This includes a high level of skill in using legal discipline to protect the assets of high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners in times of transition.

After graduating cum laude earning her Juris Doctorate from Case Western Reserve School of Law, Rachel joined Wegman Hessler as an Associate. For nearly a decade, she has become known for exceptional client service within the firm’s litigation and trust-and-estate practice areas. She also has enjoyed positive recognition in her handling of probate litigation matters.

Rachel is passionate about helping business owners, leaders, and their families. When working with clients in her estate planning practice, she works closely to customize a plan to fit their unique needs. She is skilled in the preparation of wills, trusts, durable general powers of attorney and advanced directives, and offers practical solutions to clients dealing with complex family, business, and financial situations.

Compassion is one of Rachels’ strongest attributes. In her estate planning work, and as a trust administrator and probate law attorney, Rachel counsels clients with heartfelt support as they navigate the emotional loss of a loved one, ensuring that inherited wealth is administered and distributed appropriately and efficiently.

“Rachel’s many years as a litigator, combined with her work as an estate planning and probate attorney, places her in a unique position to understand the legal issues of our clients when it comes to generational wealth transfer,” says Wegman Hessler Managing Partner Nathan E. Hessler. “She truly cares about her clients and their families, acting as their strongest advocate, consistently guiding them to a strategic and successful outcome.”
